IntraNect XL provides a customisable high-speed encrypted data transfer solution for uploading and downloading data for large distributed networks of systems. It currently transfers data for over 5000 retail sites in 11 countries in Europe.

Key features:

• Designed to connect to a wide range of systems and devices

• Independent of system or device manufacturer

• Data formats can be converted. The sending system only sends in one format, and IntraNect XL will convert as necessary to multiple different formats as required by the individual target systems and then immediately distribute it's contents to thousands of sites in multiple locations

• Security - IntraNect XL automatically encrypts all data prior to transmission

• Web based – all interaction with the server with the user is done using standard browser technology

• Client-server application – All configuration of the remote systems is done on the server

• Reliability - collects and sends large volumes of data to and from multiple systems, data collection devices and third party application software

• Typically used for large numbers of sites requiring frequent high-speed up- and downloads of data

• Rapidly gathers large volumes of data and quickly distributes it to the target systems

• Provides a log of all transfers so that the user is able to confirm when a transfer has occurred

• Simple setup and configuration of new systems

• Data can be uploaded or download in real time or scheduled as required by the head office or the site

• When using the IntraNect XL Client for the connection to the remote system will automatically compress and segment the data

• A high availability version of IntraNect XL is available where data is stored on a mirrored server as a “hot standby” backup in case of failure of the main server

• Designed to run multiple businesses or business units on the same server

Data which it transfers includes:

• Site specific Fuel Prices which are download from the head office. The data is received almost instantaneously and is then automatically imported into the local POS system. A confirmation that the new prices have been applied is then automatically uploaded back to the head office.

• Shop sales information and Inventory levels, typically daily transaction data which is then used by head office for sales analysis purposes

• Shop items can be added and removed

• Site specific Shop Item Prices which are download from the head office

• Fuel sales volumes which are then used by head office for sales and pricing analysis as well as ordering purposes

• Fuel tank dips (tank volumes)

• Individual shop orders which can be bundled together and then sent on to the suppliers

• Competitor pricing information which forwarded on to the pricing application at the head office

• Incident (health and safety) reports

• Timesheets

• E-Maintenance – Equipment status information including failure notifications, system errors which are then sent to the internal IT support helpdesk

• Software updates which are downloaded to specific sites
